SPOKANE, Wash., May 07, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Clearwater Paper Corporation (NYSE:CLW) today announced today
that Thomas A. Colgrove, 57, has accepted an offer to serve as vice
president for the company's pulp and paperboard division. Mr. Colgrove
is replacing Harry Seamans who retired from the company on April 30,
2009.
"Tom's extensive career in the pulp and paper industry brings
significant depth of knowledge about running, improving and growing
paper operations," said Clearwater Paper President and CEO Gordon Jones.
"His expertise and institutional knowledge will add yet another level of
top quality leadership to the management team of Clearwater Paper."
Mr. Colgrove most recently was senior director, family care products,
for Kimberly-Clark Corporation in Neenah, Wisconsin, where he was
responsible for seven manufacturing facilities with 4,200 employees.
Previous to that position, his 25 years of tenure with the company
included management of numerous facilities and product lines. He also
served as vice president of manufacturing for Central Paper Company in
Menasha, Wisconsin, and held management positions with Procter and
Gamble Corporation.
Mr. Colgrove earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from
Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the
University of Chicago. Mr. Colgrove will be based at Clearwater Paper's
Spokane headquarters.
